High Performance, is a well seasoned tribute artist vocal group, who consist of five talented individuals, Cornell Brown, Al Burrus, Valerie Woodhouse, Anthony Thomas and Joe Fizer. They carry with them more than 25 years of collective performance experience, to create one of the hottest vocal groups in the Chicago land area.
Their smooth choreography and dynamic stage presence has electrified audiences, by taking them on a musical journey of the past and leaving them breathless, as they pay tribute to such groups as The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Spinners, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Dells, Jackie Wilson, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan and many more legendary greats.
Past performances have afforded them to share the stage with recording artists, Bobby Rush, Ruby Andrews,Enchantment, Slave, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, and Chicago own The Mighty Dells.
Award winning performances are to include the Apollo Theatre in Brooklyn New York.
Their astonishing and exceptional tribute to Motown’s great Gladys Knight and the Pips has afforded them a continuous starring role in the # 1 hit stage performance, Vanessa Holmes “A Tribute To Motown Greats”, which continues to captivate audiences by a storm.
